North Carolinian duo Beta Radio’s Ancient Transition - their debut on Nettwerk Records - captures the band’s signature blend of organic sounds, delicate synths, and disarmingly beautiful harmonies. The album is a reflection on home and its many different meanings, the wholeness that comes with having a sense of home and the tumult that can come with lacking one. Although music has long been a bond between the band members - Brent Holloman and Benjamin Mabry - it was only recently that they decided to forego more traditional careers and make it a fulltime profession. In fact, Ben was on his way to becoming a fighter pilot in the military when Beta Radio’s music began to gain notice. Now, the band will be taking their new songs out on the road this fall on an extensive North American tour supporting Good Old War.
