composed by the exquisite belgian composer wim mertens, ltm is pleased to present this reissue of the soundtrack to the acclaimed peter greenaway film 'belly of an architect'. the film saw greenaway part company temporarily with usual collaborator michael nyman and features some of wim mertens best known signature pieces including 'close cover', 'struggle for pleasure' and '4 mains'. additional music was provided by american avant-gardist glenn branca and the cd was previously issued on les disques du crepuscule and factory in th uk. the new edition features new sleeve notes on the music film and director.
