'nothing is lost' is the fourth album by the melancholic brighton based duo things in herds. they are far-flung members of the fife based 'fence collective', and their 2005 electro-folk-pop album 'everything has to end somewhere' was released on king creosote's fence records label. with this latest album the pair have shifted toward a more stripped down, organic direction, abandoning much of the synths and electronics that characterised previous releases, a move that reflects the more sombre mood of these songs.
