the bird and the bee are greg kurstin (produced lily allen / all saints) and inara george. they discovered a common love of jazz standards and then nerded out for a while playing every song they knew. they then wrote and recorded a record together - the result being an album packed full of melodic laid-back, sassy jazz influenced grooves. the first single from the album was 'fucking boyfriend', a slice of infectious pure pop perfection, which was released on the regal singles club label to raise awareness of the band. the second single to be released from the album is 'again and again', which is backed with a live version and cover of 'do you know the way to san jose?'. limited to just 500 copies.
